Residential, Full-Service
For this loft apartment, previously closed-off spaces are restored to take advantage of the openness and loftiness of the space’s inherent quality. The kitchen frames the front end of the apartment and connects linearly to the living space. The walls that closed off the mezzanine floor bedroom are removed with openings and blackout curtains to maximize visual connection and natural light filtering throughout the space. Glossier finishes in the kitchen and the bathroom help illuminate the low-height zone situated further from the windows.
